Warehouse Material Handler 1st Shift – Hagerstown, MD – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Warehouse Material Handler for first shift Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm. Pay weekly $21 per hour. On‑the‑job training, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, paid time off and other benefits start after 30 days.

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading and unloading trucks.
• Document day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during the core shift.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• High degree of initiative, accuracy, punctuality.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand long periods, work a flexible schedule.
• Detail oriented, excellent follow‑up, able to work within a diverse environment.
