Truck Driver – CDL A Class Regional Flex (Ryder System, Inc.)

Immediate opening for a solo Class A CDL truck driver in Hagerstown, MD. We are looking for a skilled trucker to join Ryder.

Video/FLEX-Drivers

Compensation:

  • Pay: $1600 or more per week
  • Hourly pay: $29.58 per hour
  • Hours per week: 50 hours
  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 per mile after 50 miles
  • Paid training
  • Schedule varies
  • Start time: dispatch (PM/AM)
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading freight as required by customer.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Hold an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
  • Have Class A experience: ≥9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
