ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL is required

As a Software Engineer
, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements. You will work individually or as part of a team, review and test software components for adherence to design requirements, document test results, and resolve software problem reports. You will utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment and provide input to system design, including hardware and software tradeoffs, software reuse, COTS or GOTS solutions, and requirements analysis from system level to individual software components.

• Implement data pipelines at scale, including synthesizing new pipelines and refactoring existing pipelines to improve efficiency and code correctness.
• Monitor and improve existing data science tools in support of transition from development to production systems.
• Design, implement, and enhance ML analytics using Python libraries including PyTorch, Num Py, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Train, test, track, and curate models using standard tools and practices.
• Git Ops for continuous integration and deployment of models using Docker scaling.
• Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS to build and deploy applications.
• Integrate model and tool outputs within Computer Network Defense systems and software tools to enhance and maintain Security Management and Monitoring services within the Agency IT Enterprise.
• Document all processes and code and provide reports on completed tasks.

The annual base salary range for this role is $164,000-$238,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Docker and or Kubernetes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus fourteen (14) years of Software Engineer experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.

Four (4) additional years of relevant Software Engineer experience may substitute for the degree.

• AWS.
