As a Security Officer - Logistics Site Patrol Specialist in Hagerstown, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security‑related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns observed during patrols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site‑specific requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement when necessary to address security‑related issues.

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
