Radiology - Interventional Radiology

The Cath Lab Tech/IR Lab Tech is responsible for performing various cardiac and vascular procedures, assisting with interventions, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in both cardiac and interventional radiology techniques.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and pain management procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure safe procedures in accordance with best practices.
• Assist with the insertion and programming of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (AICDs).
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and follows safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

• 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech with IR experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with charting systems and procedures relevant to the Cath Lab.
• Must be on call approximately 9-13 days in a 6-week period and reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call.
