Candidates who prefer autonomy, frequent clinical skill utilization, or minimal oversight may find this role challenging.

What You’ll Do

  • Verify physician orders and ensure compliance with medical guidelines
  • Support the Lead LPN and medical assistants in daily operations
  • Monitor compliance with COMAR regulations, the Nurse Practice Act, and Developmental Disabilities guidelines

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in Maryland or a compact state
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in long‑term care settings
  • Ability to provide direct care, implement proper restraint techniques, and lift/transfer up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and training skills
  • Ability to pass all pre‑employment screenings: background check, drug screening, and physical/ergonomic testing
Benefits
  • Health, Dental, and Supplemental Insurance Options (Shared cost)
  • Company‑paid Life Insurance & Short‑Term Disability
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan with company match
  • 14 PTO days + 7 Paid Holidays
  • Casual dress code and a positive, inclusive team culture
  • Employee appreciation events, cookouts, and other recognition opportunities
Why This Role Matters

The LPN – Residential position plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and development of the individuals we serve. If you are an experienced LPN who enjoys training, supporting staff, and working in a structured but dynamic environment, this role provides a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact on our community.
