RoleYour role as a Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities- Support operations at our warehouse in Hagerstown, MD, leading and working alongside on-site maintenance and sanitation teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable warehouse operations.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on all facility and material-handling equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted operations. Use Fiix CMMS to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities.
- Provide direct technical support, troubleshoot equipment issues, train team members, and lead by example on the warehouse floor.
- Commit to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while maintaining a professional work environment aligned with company values.
- Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
- Complete internal reporting and communication as required by the Site Manager.
- Develop an understanding of all equipment and contracts on site, including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, dock doors, etc.
- Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 12+ years of maintenance experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance management experience.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
- Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
- Education/Certification:
Associate degree preferred but not required.
