REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for the role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

• Creates, and maintains Red Hat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
• Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
• Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
• Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
• Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.
• Applies patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots server issues.
• Administers customer accounts.
• Deploys monitoring tools.
• Deploys applications and tools.
• Assists with escalated customer tickets.
• Installation and cabling of equipment.

Linux command line system administration (CentOS, Red Hat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent).

• Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository.
• Experience working within a cloud environment (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines).
• Experience or knowledge of Red Seal Network Mapping tool a plus.
• Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi).

• Syslog/Nx Log
• Nagios or other similar monitoring apps
