Cyber Risk​/Threat Analyst

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Cyber Risk/Threat Analyst to support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.

Location:

Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will conduct cyber risk assessments and threat intelligence analysis to support operational decision‑making and improve situational awareness.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform operational risk characterization for DODIN
• Analyze cyber threats and intelligence feeds
• Conduct ASOM analysis on cyber topics
• Produce threat assessments and recommendations
• Correlate events with external intelligence
• Support cybersecurity readiness assessments

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA;
  Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA;
  Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• Experience in cyber threat intelligence
• Knowledge of threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
• Risk assessment methodologies
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Understanding of DODIN architecture
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• GIAC certifications preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence, or related field
• 5‑8 years specific experience

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
