At Meritus Health, we’re looking for an HRIS Administrator who thrives at the intersection of HR operations, system optimization, reporting, and analytics. In this role, you’ll help ensure our HR systems and reporting tools deliver accurate, actionable insights—supporting leaders and teams across the organization.
WhatYou’ll Do
As the HRIS Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving HRIS functionality while ensuring high-quality reporting and data integrity.
Responsibilities include:
- Support HRIS implementation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide data analysis, dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting
- Gather business requirements and translate them into reports and system enhancements
- Develop and deliver:
- reports and scorecards
- dashboards
- ad hoc and predictive analytics
- pivot tables, models, and analysis summaries
- Ensure data integrity and accurate interpretation of HR data
- Provide technical assistance, training, consultation, and guidance to system users
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Recommend process improvement measures based on data analysis
- Participate in special projects and HRIS system implementations as needed
We’re seeking someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications- Position is hybrid. Requires 1 day per month onsite in Hagerstown, MD
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience working as a system administrator of an HR system with a report writing tool for a complex database required
- Experience working with UKG/Ultipro highly preferred
- Experience working in a human resources office required
- Healthcare background preferred
- Financial or business analyst background preferred
- Advanced proficiency in reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, Access, and Cognos
- Strong experience with data analysis and BI tools connected to databases/data warehouses
- Ability to work with large datasets and ensure accuracy
- Strong critical thinking and ability to identify trends and outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication/documentation skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and quality-focused
- Understanding of HRIS platforms (at least one commercial HRIS product preferred)
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS supports organizational needs
