This role is responsible for assisting the Manager in day-to-day operations of the clinical practice. The clinical staff member demonstrates outstanding clinical and leadership skills; will have responsibility for: staff scheduling, maintaining lab certification, training and mentoring, compliance with State and Regulatory requirements, participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives. Will work as a liaison to providers in the Practice.
Minimum RequirementsEducation - Minimum of HS Diploma.
Experience - A minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient clinic setting, leadership experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification - If Medical Assistant - must have at least 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant, certification preferred. If LPN, must be currently licensed in the State of Maryland and have at least 2 years experience. Will consider other licensed clinical specialties such as Radiology Technician with at least 2 years experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Strong teamwork ethic is essential, must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment while maintaining a professional attitude and communication with staff, providers, and leadership. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills are critical.
