Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular, and pain management procedures
Perform accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and rhythm interpretation
Function as room circulator and assist with sterile field maintenance
Support procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, stent placements, STEMI interventions, temporary pacemakers, and cardioversion
Assist with electrophysiology procedures including EP studies, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, cardiac ablations, and AICD/pacemaker insertion and programming
Participate in vascular and interventional procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, dialysis graft interventions, TIPS, and peripheral angiography
Assist with IR-related procedures including port placement, renal and ureteral stents, and pain management interventions
Start IVs, manage venous and peripheral access, and assist with Rotablader and ablation procedures
Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems safely and effectively
Respond to emergency cases and participate in on-call coverage as required
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Strong experience as a Cath Lab Tech or RCIS
Active BLS and ACLS certifications
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
