Professional Geologist Project Manager

At HCEA, Our Project Managers/Geologists are considered the keys to our long‑term success. This exciting and dynamic position requires excellence in the following key competencies.

• Geophysical/Geotechnical Project Management:
  Manage and operate the specialty exploration techniques of geophysical projects performed in Karst topography area (sinkholes), rock parameters, MASW site classifications, and utility locating. Methods include seismic refraction, electrical resistivity, ground‑penetrating radar, and micro‑gravity techniques.
• Client Management:
  Enhance client satisfaction ratings by providing thorough, professional service and maintaining continuous communication to build long‑term relationships.
• Business Development:
  Strategically capture and maintain profitable revenue streams for the Geophysical division. Establish and maintain effective relationships with local clients—including architects, civil engineers, commercial and residential developers, general contractors, health‑care and educational institutions; participate in networking events, trade shows and local community organizations; gather competitor information and market intelligence.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on geophysical study.
• Enthusiastic, self‑starter with a desire to provide excellent service to clients.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD).
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel and work out of town for short periods.
• Physical requirements may require lifting up to 50 pounds and traversing rugged terrain.

Professional Geologist, Geophysicist, Licensed Professional Engineer a significant plus.
