Overview
Skybridge Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Inspector (A&P required) to support a growing FAA Part 145 Repair Station in Hagerstown, Maryland
. This role focuses on inspecting and ensuring compliance for aircraft structural modifications and avionics upgrade programs.
If you have strong inspection experience, attention to detail, and a background in structural and/or avionics integration, this is a high-impact quality control position with excellent growth potential.
Key Responsibilities✅ Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structural modifications and airframe repairs in accordance with approved engineering data
✅ Inspect avionics upgrades, including installation, integration, wiring, and system testing
✅ Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and Part 145 requirements
✅ Review maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders for accuracy and completeness
✅ Complete inspection checklists and documentation to support airworthiness sign-off
✅ Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and production teams to resolve discrepancies
QualificationsRequired:
- Minimum 3+ years of aircraft maintenance/inspection experience
- Experience with structural modifications and/or avionics systems integration
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data
Preferred:
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment
- Hangar-based repair station environment
- Structural modification and avionics upgrade programs
