Join us in Hagerstown, MD, where our facility is at the forefront of pioneering next‑generation ISR platforms. You will play a critical role in our special mission aircraft efforts and help lead the way in developing next‑generation Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve cutting‑edge products and services that range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft. Specifically, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our special mission aircraft, ensuring they meet the unique needs and stringent requirements of our clients.

Your responsibilities will include consulting with program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to develop the most efficient and cost‑effective means of producing our products at the highest quality possible. You will review engineering designs for producibility and oversee all aspects of design conception through implementation. This includes the development of tooling and fixtures, work instructions, and production processes and procedures.

Additionally, you will apply manufacturing technologies and industry best practices during the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that our special mission aircraft are built to the highest standards and performance criteria.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in a related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Familiarity with applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
  • Capability of working in multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Experience with work instruction/traveler development
  • Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience in wiring, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems
  • Knowledge of assembling and installing connectors, harnesses, and other electronic components
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Aircraft Modification experience highly preferred
  • Participation in dispositions of Non‑Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Experience with new product introduction and transition to production

    Experience with aircraft modification
  • Experience interacting with shop floor personnel from project conception through implementation

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance. Non‑U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,768.30 - $. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education, training, and certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
