** Responsibilities:
*** Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE practices and procedures.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
* Support emergency response planning and coordination.
* Participate in safety committee meetings and other safety-related activities.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
* Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledgeable with a variety of occupational health & safety standards, EPA, OSHA, and NFPA regulations.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct a job hazard analysis, site audits, and incident root cause analysis.
* Fluency with data capture, data analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Experience with DCMA INST 8210.
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
* Certifications, including Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST).

* Essential Functions:
*** Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits, which may involve walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
* Ability to work in various environments, including office, manufacturing, and outdoor settings.
* Must be able to work in a team and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to travel as required.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $59,000.00 - $77,541.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
