Overview
PIA's Hagerstown campus is hiring for an Aviation Maintenance Instructor. The position is salary exempt with daytime hours and no weekend commitments. Teaching experience is a plus but not required, as instructional training is provided.
Schedule:
Regular hours are Monday–Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Aviation Maintenance Instructor Qualifications and Skills- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 3+ years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience
- Teaching experience is ideal, but not required; training is provided
- Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance. A full job description will be provided during the interview process.
