Student Worker STEM labs

Students working as lab aides may use the basic skills and equipment of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, however cleaning and organizing are the major components of this job. This is a physically active job with support areas on four floors of the STEM building -- applicant must be very mobile and able to remain active for large stretches of the day (often while moving materials from one floor to another).

Both science majors and non-science majors are encouraged to apply. Duties vary greatly depending on the skills and aptitude of the student. It is helpful if the student is available on Fridays but it is not required.

We are hiring for spring positions so you will need to be registered for at least 6 credits during the spring semester (you need to be registered before applying for work) to be eligible for this position.

MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SPRING 2026 SEMESTER.

MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.

UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.
