PT Swings or Graves Customer Service Operators

Part‑time customer service operators needed for Becklar Monitoring. This role works swing and grave shifts in Hagerstown, MD.

Shift

Details
  • Swings: Three days per week, 8 hours per day between 4 pm and 1 am
  • Graves: Three days per week, 8 hours per day from 12 am to 8:30 am

Key Responsibilities
  • Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations
  • Dispatch the proper authorities to subscriber locations in emergencies, verify help is on the way, and notify responsible parties
  • Assist partner alarm companies with system tests to ensure subscriber alarms are working properly
  • Accurately document all responses for each alarm on the computer
  • Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities for accurate alarm handling and personal growth
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
  • Willingness to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as a 24/7 business requires
  • Commitment to work assigned shifts for at least six months after hire
  • Ability to pass a fully paid two‑week training class, pre‑employment drug test, and background check
