• As a Part-Time Accounting Specialist in our Outsourced Solutions Service Line, support clients by performing critical transactional accounting functions while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service.
• Reporting to a Senior Associate, assist with daily and monthly processing tasks and play an important role in client support.
• This role is eligible for hybrid or fully remote upon completion of an initial training period.
• Uphold SEK’s standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare, post, and reconcile payroll.
• Prepare 1099 filings and compile W-9 information.
• Manage time effectively and compare actual hours against engagement budgets.
• Build proficiency in Quick Books Online, , Flo Qast, and Excel.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Support continuous process improvement.
• Enter time daily to support accurate billing.
• Participate in training, CPE, and on-the-job learning.

• Associate Degree in Accounting or relevant experience.
• Client-facing or customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and initiative.
