POSITION SUMMARY
The Salesforce System Administrator serves as the primary owner of all internal Salesforce and Certinia environments. This role is responsible for day-to-day administration, system configuration, security governance, data integrity, and platform optimization across internal teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Administer and maintain internal Salesforce environments, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated Certinia applications.
- Configure and manage objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Lightning pages.
- Build and maintain Flows, automation, reports, and dashboards to support internal business processes.
- Own Salesforce and Certinia security administration, including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Permission Set Groups.
- Ensure access aligns with Ferrilli’s least-privilege security framework and Workforce Classification Model.
- Review and implement access changes for new users, role changes, and new functionality in a controlled and auditable manner.
- Manage data imports, updates, and exports using tools such as Data Loader.
- Monitor data quality and integrity across Salesforce and Certinia.
- Support internal audits, reporting needs, and data governance initiatives.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for internal Salesforce and Certinia issues.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.
- Create and maintain system documentation, standards, and internal training materials.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usability across departments.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales Operations, Professional Services, HR, and IT on cross-functional initiatives.
- Evaluate App Exchange tools and system enhancements for internal use and scalability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.
- Salesforce Advance Administrator Certification (required).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certification strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of hands - on Salesforce administration experience in an internal enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Flows, reporting, dashboards, and data management tools.
- Demonstrated experience administering security models, roles, and permission structures.
- Experience administering Certinia (Financial Management, PSA, or related modules).
- Prior experience supporting finance, resource management, or professional services operations.
- Familiarity with governance models, change management, and audit-ready system administration.
- Experience in consulting, SaaS, or higher education environments.
