The Bunny Hive Teacher/Class Facilitator About The Bunny Hive
The Bunny Hive is a modern family social club and enrichment studio for children (newborn–5) and their grownups. Our space is designed to be warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated — a place where children can explore, play, and learn, and where caregivers feel comfortable, supported, and part of a community.
At The Bunny Hive, classes are about connection, not performance. We believe in creating joyful experiences, fostering relationships, and meeting families exactly where they are.
About the RoleWe are looking for warm, playful, and emotionally intuitive facilitators to lead classes and experiences for young children and their caregivers. This is not a traditional teaching role. You do not need a formal teaching background. What matters most is your energy, presence, and ability to create a space where children feel safe to be themselves and grownups feel seen and welcome.
You’ll guide classes, build relationships with families, and help bring The Bunny Hive experience to life.
Who You AreYou might be a great fit if you:
- Love working with young children (newborns through preschoolers)
- Are naturally warm, expressive, and playful
- Are comfortable being a little silly — singing, dancing, making funny faces
- Can read a room and adapt in the moment
- Enjoy connecting with adults just as much as kids
- Take pride in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Are dependable, thoughtful, and invested in doing meaningful work
- Want to be part of something growing — not just clock in and out
Backgrounds that often work well include (but are not limited to): former or current educators, nannies, caregivers, performers, dancers, camp counselors, yoga or movement instructors, child development or psychology students, or parents looking for part-time work.
What You’ll Do- Facilitate developmentally appropriate classes and experiences for young children and their caregivers
- Create a warm, inclusive, and calm environment where families feel comfortable
- Engage children through music, movement, storytelling, play, and exploration
- Build genuine relationships with families — learning names, noticing regulars, welcoming new faces
- Support class transitions and gently redirect when needed
- Help set up and reset spaces to maintain a beautiful, inviting studio
- Collaborate with the studio team to bring new ideas and energy to programming
- Uphold The Bunny Hive’s values, tone, and community-centered ethos
We will provide training, structure, and support. We care far more about how you show up than what’s on your résumé.
