Digital Transformation Lead

Location: Hackney Central

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Hackney Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Digital Transformation Lead this role will be: E8 1DY

The right candidate will:

* To lead a programme to implement Hackney’s Digital Strategy, ensuring robust and effective programme and project management is in place to support delivery of programme benefits.

* To develop and implement a roadmap for Hackney’s digital transformation.

* To lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams to design, deliver and support digital change.

* To advise and support Work stream leads, Corporate Directors and Directors to enable services to achieve objectives through a ‘digital by design’ approach to transformation

* To lead and embed cultural change required to support effective digital transformation.

* Deliver, implement and support others to ensure that the Council’s values and practises always meet our objectives for security, financial prudence and transparency, inclusion and sustainability.

We require the following:

* Experience of identifying and implementing digital solutions, which lead to service improvements and efficiencies.

* Experience of leading and managing complex digital transformation programmes in local authorities or other organisations.

* Knowledge of the digital agenda within the public sector.
