English Teacher - Part Time - Hackney

Teacher of English (Part-Time) Hackney Immediate Start

Premier Recruitment Hub are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools in Hackney, who are seeking an experienced and qualified Teacher of English to join them on a part-time, long-term cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong English specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, starting immediately through to the end of the academic year.

Role Information:

• Position: Teacher of English

• Location: Hackney, London

• Start Date: Immediate

• Contract: Long-term cover until 17th July 2026

• Working Pattern: Part-Time 2 days per week

  • Wednesday and Thursday (non-negotiable)

• Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

• School Hours: 8:20am 3:10pm
  (Additional hours may be required for Parents Evenings)

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  (Candidates without QTS will not be considered)

• Must be an experienced teacher not suitable for ECTs/NQTs

• Must be fully vetted and available to start immediately

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills required
