Salary: c 70k- 80k basic plus competitive package inc car allowance, pension etc.

Company & Project: A privately owned main contractor operating in the Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use and Regeneration sectors, are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship Residential and Mixed-Use, Design & Build, New Build project in excess of c 70m+.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions across a large section of the project, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.

Previous experience on projects 20m+ as Number 1 QS is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of assisting with CVR's and monthly reporting.

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum 10 years+ experience as a QS on Construction projects in excess of 20m.
• Good knowledge of JCT Design & Build Contracts.
• Excellent negotiation skills and previous experience procuring subcontractors.
• Strong track interpersonal and communication.
• Previous Roles:
  Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable.
