Pride Staff is currently partnering with a leading electronics manufacturer in Hackettstown, NJ to find a detail-oriented Production Test Technician. This is a fantastic "foot-in-the-door" opportunity for a technical professional looking to grow their career in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

As a Production Test Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical and RF testing of EMI and RF filter products. Your mission is to ensure every unit leaving the facility meets strict engineering specifications and customer requirements through rigorous testing and precise documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct Core Testing: Perform impedance, insertion loss, return loss, isolation, continuity, and functional testing on EMI/RF filter assemblies.
• Safety & Integrity Checks: Run dielectric withstand (hipot) and insulation resistance tests.
• Equipment Operation: Set up and operate specialized RF/electrical tools, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and LCR meters.
• Documentation: Accurately record results in ERP/MES systems; identify and report non-conforming products immediately.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Collaborate: Support troubleshooting and rework activities while strictly following ESD and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's Degree in Electronics or a related field is a major plus).
• Experience: 2+ years in electrical or RF production testing.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience operating network analyzers and RF test equipment.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of EMI/EMC and RF fundamentals (S-parameters, impedance, etc.).
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail and a high level of documentation discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-reliability sectors (Aerospace, Defense).
• Familiarity with automated RF test systems.
• Exposure to AS9100 or ISO
  9001 quality standards.
