Job Description
Local client seeks an EHS coordinator with some experience working in a manufacturing setting. You will be a key professional in the EHS function with a focus on environmental. Your work will include workplace environmental issues, such as wastewater management, air quality, pollution prevention, and environmental permitting.
- You will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local municipality requirements.
- You will provide knowledge and insight into environmental topics and oversee environmental improvement initiatives.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining environmental programs, Prepare site compliance reporting, reviews, and audits.
- Provide onsite environmental training to employees.
- Prepare safety reports.
BS degree in Environmental Sciences, EHS (Environmental, Safety, and Health Engineering), or similar is required.
One or two years of paid, industrial experience is a must.
Familiarity with local, State, and Federal compliance regulations is required.
This position supports three or four manufacturing locations. Must be open to some travel.
