Account Manager-Insurance Domain Experience
Navikenz is seeking a results-driven Account Manager / Business Development Manager with strong expertise in IT services sales for Insurance domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales activities including lead generation, client acquisition, RFI/RFP responses, MSA & SOW negotiations, and long-term account growth. This role requires a strategic hunter mindset combined with strong relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales- Drive new business acquisition for IT services across Insurance in the US market
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities for custom software development, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, and QA services
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure
- Lead and manage RFI, RFP, RFQ responses in collaboration with technical and delivery teams
- Own proposal creation, pricing, commercial discussions, and bid submissions
- Negotiate and finalize MSA, SOW, NDAs, and commercial contracts
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and delivery stakeholders to ensure deal compliance
- Develop and maintain strong CXO-level and stakeholder relationships
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term account growth and client satisfaction
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Generate qualified leads through Linked In, Lusha, Sales Navigator, email campaigns, cold outreach, and partner channels
- Leverage industry networks, events, and referrals to expand client reach
- Maintain accurate sales data and forecasting in CRM tools
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT services sales / business development
- Proven experience selling IT services or consulting solutions to Insurance and Healthcare clients
- Strong hands-on experience with RFI, RFP, MSA, SOW, and contract negotiations
- Expertise in lead generation tools and channels (Linked In, Lusha, Sales Navigator, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of US IT services market and buying cycles
- Existing client network in Insurance
- Experience working with US-based clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zoho, etc.)
- Understanding of delivery models (Onsite, Offshore, Hybrid)
