Emerging Power is a manufacturer specializing in the proprietary design and assembly of advanced battery systems and chargers. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and maintain our quality systems while supporting production, engineering, and customer requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Who You AreThe Quality Manager is responsible for managing and continuously improving the company’s quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100
, and supporting customer and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with Engineering, Production, and Inspection teams to drive product quality, process improvement, and operational excellence.
ITAR compliance applies — U.S. Citizenship is required.
What You’ll DoLead and manage all quality programs, accreditations, and related activities in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100
Develop, maintain, and update quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions
Plan and manage annual quality goals, performance metrics, and management review reports
Perform and oversee internal audits, product inspections, incoming inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
Generate and manage quality documentation including CARs
, PSWs
, and PPAPsInterface directly with customers on quality matters and act as the primary quality point of contact
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Inspection, and department managers (Production, Engineering)
Participate in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), MRB reviews, and design review meetings
Manage and perform calibration activities for inspection and testing equipment
Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and work instructions
Operate a variety of inspection and testing equipment as required
Utilize SAP and other systems to track quality data, metrics, and reports
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen (ITAR requirement)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience managing quality systems in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Experience with audits, inspections, CARs, and FAI documentation
- Proficiency in SAP
, Microsoft Word
, Power Point , and statistical analysis tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including materials, finishes, heat treatment, and machining
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Candidates with 2–5 years of experience
: $60,000–$75,000Candidates with 6–10 years of experience
: $80,000–$90,000
