• Deliver nursing care according to up-to-date evidence-based practices, policies, and standards for a specific patient population.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, including delegation, validation, evaluation, and communication of the plan of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document patient status and care in a timely manner.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to age, disease, and cultural needs; ensure understanding and informed consent where applicable.
• Manage discharge planning and transitions of care in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain competencies, certifications, and continuing education to meet facility accreditation and licensing requirements.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses with Interpretive Statements and organizational standards.
• Lift, push/pull, and stand within established safety guidelines as required by the role.

• Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or diploma in Nursing (BSN in progress and/or willing to pursue within three years of hire).
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice in New Jersey by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health s Nurse Residency Program.
• National certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Minimum rate of $47.64 hourly. Hackensack Meridian Health is committed to pay equity and transparency.
