About the Position
Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – New Jersey

Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM), holidays as needed. On-call every 4th-5th weekend (Friday-Sunday) and approximately 3-4 call shifts per month.
Highlights:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment
Assist with IR procedures performed in IR, CT Scan, and Ultrasound settings
Utilize advanced bar-scanning and electronic documentation technologies for safe medication administration and point-of-care charting
Manage complex patients including those requiring conscious sedation, ventilator support, and drip titration
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe patient transitions and continuum of care
Provide patient and family-centered education focused on optimizing health outcomes
Requirements:
ASN required; BSN preferred
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
2-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
Acute care experience with ability to manage ventilated patients and titrate drips
BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Conscious sedation experience required
