• Deliver nursing practices according to the most up‑to‑date evidence‑based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide and ensure safe and excellent individualized patient care.
• Communicate ongoing with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the health care team regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medication utilizing bar‑scanning and documentation technologies designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
• Document patient assessments, plan of care, interventions, and evaluations of rendered care electronically at point of care.
• Provide patient and family centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.

• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability for improving patient and caregiver outcomes, teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and passion for delivering highest quality, patient‑focused care.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

Starting at $47.39 hourly. The posted rate is a reasonable, good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package. Compensation is benchmarked against labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations. Shift differentials may apply for evening, night, or weekend shifts.
