Porter - Floater - Daytime

To support our Mission at NJFH we encourage applications from qualified individuals with varying abilities. This position will work at various locations, and it is required to have a valid Driver's License. SHIFT:
Monday-Friday (daytime hours with flexibility) PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for cleaning contracted buildings and office space. Essential Functions Include:

- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them - Gather and empty trash - Service, clean, and supply restrooms - Clean and polish furniture and fixtures - Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using specific cleaners, sponges, and squeegees - Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment - Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications - Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures - Any other duties deemed necessary for the cleanliness of the building.

• Minimum 1-year previous maintenance / janitorial experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Floater Porters will use an agency vehicle to drive to and from individual work sites.
