We are working with a nationally respected firm based in Hackensack, New Jersey that is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate for sophisticated restructuring and insolvency work. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants high level work and compensation without the typical Big Law burnout.
What They Are Looking For- 3+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency experience
- Chapter 11 experience preferred
- Active bar admission in good standing
- Litigation experience is a plus but not required
- Top of market New Jersey compensation with base salary up to $372,000 plus bonus eligibility
- Complex Chapter 11 matters, creditor and debtor representations, and high stakes workouts
- Early responsibility with hands on drafting and direct client exposure
- Hybrid work model with a collaborative in office culture
- No rigid billable hour pressure with emphasis on quality of work
