Harwood Lloyd, LLP, a New York and New Jersey firm, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join us in our New Jersey Family Law Department.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional legal writing and research skills, with a demonstrated ability to draft persuasive motions, legal memoranda, and correspondence in high-conflict family law matters. Experience conducting case law research, preparing court filings, and supporting litigation strategy is essential. Candidates should be comfortable appearing in court, handling motion hearings, case conferences, and other proceedings independently or under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Familiarity with New Jersey family court procedures, rules, and timelines is required. We are looking for someone proactive, organized, and confident in managing a caseload with guidance from senior attorneys. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively while also exercising sound judgment in independent work.

Associate Attorney, Family Law

As an Associate Attorney in our New Jersey Family Law department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of family law matters throughout New Jersey, from client intake and legal research through discovery, motion practice, and resolution, including court appearances and trial. Courtroom experience is preferred but not required. Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm position.
