* Summary:

**### As a Claims Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry while supporting our claims department. This internship provides valuable exposure to the entire claims process, from initial claim filing to resolution, and offers insight into the intricacies of property and casualty insurance.### ###

* Key Responsibilities:

*** ### Assist claims adjusters in processing property and casualty insurance claims.* ### Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, gathering relevant information and documentation.* ### Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to obtain necessary details regarding claims.* ### Review policy coverage and determine the extent of liability for each claim.* ### Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting and legal to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
* ### Document claim activities and maintain organized claim files for future reference.* ### Provide administrative support to the claims team, including data entry and file management.* ### Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand knowledge of insurance practices and procedures.

* Qualifications:

*** ### Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in insurance, business, finance, or a related field.* ### Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* ### Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.* ### Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.* ### Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.* ### Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
