Radiographer; Per Diem Operating Room - Medical Center

Job Summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a PER DIEM Radiographer for the Operating Room at Overlook Medical Center to work varied shifts including weekends as necessary.

• Team player to assist in operating room radiology tasks and overall efficiency.
• Operate diagnostic mobile equipment to examine patients undergoing surgical procedures and collaborate with team members and physicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures when operating radiation equipment to prevent ill‑exposure to ionizing radiation.
• Attention to details, IT skills, and teamwork ability.
• Record and store patients’ examination results and ensure compliance with Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality codes.
• Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure it is functional and operates efficiently.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program.
• High School Diploma/ GED required.
• NJ State License required.
• ARRT Certification and current active registration required.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Two (2) years of general diagnostic radiologic experience in the Operating Room preferred.
