Required Skills: Trauma Radiography, OR Imaging (C-Arm), Portable X-Ray, Pediatric Imaging, Contrast Media Preparation, Patient Positioning/Immobilization, Technical Factor Selection

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology;
Completion of A.R.R.T. clinical requirements

Schedule: 3 x 12s; 0800 - 2030;
Every 3rd Weekend;
Holidays as needed;
On Call required; 13-week contract

Setting, Bed count, Trauma Level: Acute Care Facility;
Emergency/Trauma focus

Equipment, Duties, Procedures: Independent operation of diagnostic radiographic equipment;
Portable x-ray in patient rooms, ER, and OR;
Beam restriction/collimation;
Identify and mark films;
Develop exposed film;
Assist physicians with radiopaque contrast administration;
Administrative scheduling and record maintenance

Short Description: Day-shift Rad Tech I for high-volume NJ acute care facility. Requires strong trauma and OR background with the ability to work independently. Every 3rd weekend and call rotation required.
