Job Summary – MRI Technologist Under the direction of a qualified physician, performs MRI procedures requiring independent magnetic pulse selection to support accurate disease diagnosis. Essential Duties Prepares and performs MRI exams in compliance with department standards (≥99% accuracy). Reviews requisitions, schedules appropriate exam times, and manages workflow efficiently. Prepares and administers contrast media with 100% accuracy. Processes and completes images within 30 minutes post-exam.
Translates physician orders into appropriate MRI procedures. Collaborates with radiologists to develop and optimize imaging protocols. Maintains patient logs, equipment downtime records, and accurate charge capture. Functions as Charge Technologist when assigned, preparing reports and coordinating daily activities. Performs STAT and emergency studies as required. Ensures a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all safety standards. Maintains productivity within 20% of posted FTE monthly averages (excluding low-volume night shifts).
Monitors inventory and reports supply needs with ≥95% accuracy. Safely transports patients and assists patients and families throughout their visit. Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports malfunctions appropriately. Cross-trains as needed and assists with coverage for absent staff. Adheres to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Assignment Details Contract Length: 13 weeks

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Weekends:
Every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday) On Call:
