The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to individuals and their families in a team relationship with other health care providers in a setting that is designated by the department.

• Perform all functions associated with evaluation of patients for all age groups within the department’s responsibility.
• Complete all documentation required within the department’s timeline according to the department’s standards.
• Identify the needs of the patient population served and modify and deliver care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.). This process includes communicating with the patient, parent and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.).
• Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center’s Organizational Competencies.

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Occupational Therapist License.

Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.

Starting rate: $57.65 per hour.
