Radiology - Nuclear Medicine

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM & 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates and evaluates imaging equipment, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities include administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing radionuclide procedures, and maintaining stringent safety and operational records.

• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment and evaluate images using the PACS System.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Perform radionuclide procedures, ensuring safety and compliance under prescribed conditions.
• Calibrate equipment and maintain records in line with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work spaces, ensuring contamination-free conditions.
• Rotate assignments as needed between Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.
• Complete necessary clerical duties, including patient scheduling and data processing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, adapting to their individual needs.

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with graduation from an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Valid NJDEP license and ARRT or NMTCB registry required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
