Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Finance Intern will report to the Director of Finance and will have several opportunities for growth, including:
- Learning to interpret multi-layer client contracts in support of client portfolio along with analyzing and reporting results.
- Create and audit monthly transaction histories based on period performance and individual client contracts.
- Assist with monthly closing activities to ensure timely reporting to Executive Management.
- Contribute to company financial planning, preparation and analysis of revenue and expense budgets, financial models and forecasts.
- Support preparation of consolidated financial statements, as well as management and departmental reports.
- Participate with Senior and Executive Management on Special Projects to critically assess operational and financial data for changes in workflow.
- Provide thoughtful and progressive collaboration to bring fresh views for Finance team growth.

- Highly computer literate - Microsoft Suite with Advanced Excel is required, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL experience highly desirable.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with less structure than larger organizations requiring a highly entrepreneurial mindset and excellent time management skills.
- Planning and organization skills with ability to prioritize workloads.
- Strategic thinker, decision maker and risk taker who is passionate about their work; smart / resourceful / innovative and an absolute team player.
- Supply chain, warehouse distribution and/or logistics knowledge very desirable.
