Our client is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support the evaluation and management of customer credit risk while helping optimize cash flow and minimize exposure. This role will be responsible for reviewing creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and partnering closely with collections, sales, and finance teams to ensure sound credit decisions.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, experience working with customer credit portals and financial systems
, and a proactive approach to managing credit risk in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, credit reports, and payment history
  • Establish and review customer credit limits, terms, and exposure levels
  • Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks or delinquency trends
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable and Collections teams to support timely payments and dispute resolution
  • Utilize customer portals and credit management systems to review payment activity, submit documentation, and monitor account status
  • Analyze aging reports and recommend action on high‑risk or delinquent accounts
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to balance credit risk with revenue growth
  • Support month‑end reporting related to credit exposure and risk analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer credit files and documentation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk, or commercial credit
  • Experience working with customer portals for payment tracking, dispute resolution, or credit documentation
  • Strong understanding of credit evaluation, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize risk appropriately
Preferred:
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or consumer goods environments
  • Exposure to credit insurance or trade credit management tools
