The Role
The Director of Analytics – Gaming is the senior analytical leader responsible for defining and executing the analytics strategy for the Casino business. This role shapes product, promotional, and commercial decision‑making by providing deep insights into game performance, customer behavior, segmentation, bonus optimization, and long‑term value.
This leader oversees a team of 5–10 analysts and partners with Casino Product, Commercial, CRM, VIP, Marketing, and Finance to unlock profitable growth and deliver high‑impact insights across all aspects of the Casino P&L.
Casino Strategy & Business Impact- Set the strategic direction for Casino analytics, aligning priorities to product strategy, commercial goals, and market competition.
- Lead performance analysis across game vendors, game types, RTP strategies, volatility tiers, and player value segments.
- Influence the Casino roadmap through insights into player behavior, expected revenue impacts, and long‑term profitability.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to deliver data‑driven recommendations that drive growth and improve player experiences.
- Evaluate merchandising and content strategies within the iGaming platform, identifying ways to increase player engagement.
- Oversee models for churn prediction, bonus elasticity, segmentation, LTV forecasting, and retention uplift.
- Own the Casino experimentation framework including design, measurement, and optimization of bonus campaigns, CRM journeys, and product features.
- Build frameworks for measuring promotional cannibalization, incremental value, and campaign ROI.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a 5–10‑person analytics team.
- Establish Casino KPI definitions, reporting standards, and insight pipelines used across the business.
- Foster a culture of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and commercial ownership.
- Drive automation of recurring analytics and build scalable dashboards that enable real‑time decision‑making.
- Partner with Engineering and Data teams to improve data accessibility, quality, and modeling infrastructure.
- Ensure analytical workflows and datasets support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.
- Serve as the principal analytical advisor to Casino leadership, delivering insights that shape strategy and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with CRM, VIP, Product, and Marketing to optimize lifecycle management, reinvestment strategy, and segmentation.
- Present findings to executive stakeholders with clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the online gaming industry.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with statistical modeling, A/B testing, and customer segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with online gaming platforms, trading systems, and marketing technologies.
