Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer, to join a newly growing team due to a exciting new project win. Due to the growth we need someone capable of growing within the company to the next level, and willing to work collaboratively with the engineering team, often wearing many hats. An established, innovation-driven aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Project Engineering team supporting high‑profile programs.

As a senior‑level contributor, you’ll take ownership of complex engineering programs from concept through production, ensuring performance, compliance, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

• Lead mechanical design of high‑reliability electro‑mechanical packaging for aerospace applications
• Perform and oversee stress, thermal, tolerance stack‑up, and control system analyses
• Review and ensure compliance with customer component and sub‑tier specifications
• Define and coordinate development testing (DVT, ATP, QTP) and verification matrices
• Prepare and support PDR/CDR technical reviews and customer deliverables (CDRLs)
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and program management

• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following:
  Fluid controls, Control systems, valves, pumps
