Seeking to add to our engineering team a seasoned professional to help us build custom machinery used across the food and beverage, water treatment, packaging, energy, and automation sectors. Every system is designed, fabricated, and assembled on-site in their U.S.

- Lead the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Engineer custom industrial machinery, motion systems, and integration for real-world automation
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, and AutoCAD
- Play a key role in the transition to Autodesk Inventor as the core design platform
- Collaborate with sales, drafting, production, service, and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility and performance
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests, system demos, and customer meetings
- Conduct hands‑on testing and root cause analysis to solve engineering challenges
- Recommend improvements to enhance reliability, manufacturability, and cost‑efficiency
- Generate full technical documentation including BOMs, manuals, and assembly instructions
- Provide limited on‑site support for commissioning and validation, travel is minimal (0 to 2 percent)
- Experience designing electromechanical equipment, custom machinery, and automated systems
- High‑level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor preferred, along with Solid Works and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, mechanical fasteners, motion control, and pneumatics
- Familiarity with PLM systems and NPI workflows
- Hands‑on background and mechanical aptitude is strongly valued. Candidates who enjoy working on cars, engines, machines, or DIY projects often excel here
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both internal teams and clients
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
While not required, familiarity with the following codes and standards is considered a plus:
- ASME Section VIII for pressure vessel design and inspection
- ASME B31.1 and B31.3 for power and process piping
- ASME Y14.5 for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- ASME B16.5, B36.10M for flanges, pipes, and fittings
