Physician Opportunities at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), Hackensack, New Jersey.

The Comprehensive Headache Center in the Department of Neurology at HUMC, a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health system, is recruiting a full-time neurologist who has completed an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship and is BE/BC by ABPN and UCNS.

• Clinical care focused on headache and facial pain disorders.
• Teaching medical and graduate students, residents, and fellows.
• Engagement in sponsored and investigator-initiated research (supported by 3 research coordinators).
• Contribute to a rapidly expanding interprofessional team providing state-of-the-art treatment options for headache and facial pain syndromes.
• Collaborate with 2 fellowship-trained headache specialists, a dedicated headache APN, neuro-psychologists, infusion center, rehab therapists, and dietitians.
• Engage in activities to address health care disparities and provide individually tailored diagnostic and treatment approaches.
• Faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine commensurate with experience.

• The Center features an interprofessional team with access to an infusion center, rehabilitation therapists, and dietitians.
• The HUMC system is part of Hackensack Meridian Health, the largest, most comprehensive network in New Jersey, with multiple academic medical centers and affiliated hospitals.

• Completed an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship.
• Board eligible or board-certified by ABPN and UCNS.
• Interested in teaching and research; able to participate in sponsored and investigator-initiated projects.

Salary and benefits information reflect a base salary minimum and a comprehensive package. The posted base salary for this position is $258,056, with final compensation determined at offer based on factors including specialization, experience, leadership, education and certifications, productivity, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations. Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans. The final compensation and benefits package will be discussed during the interview process.
