-1 [Switchboard Operator] As a Switchboard Operator at Hackensack Meridian Health, you'll:
Operate the hospital's switchboard system, managing incoming and outgoing calls efficiently;
Assist patients and staff by providing accurate information and transferring calls to appropriate departments;
Maintain a log of all calls and messages, ensuring confidentiality & accuracy;
Respond to emergency situations by following established protocols and notifying relevant personnel;
Update and maintain the directory of hospital contacts and departments;
Provide excellent customer service.
