LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well‑established client within the Restaurant and Hospitality industry to identify a Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team, acting as a key contributor who will support core accounting functions, including month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and special reporting.

Key Responsibilities / Job Functions
  • Prepare and manage assigned territory or brand Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
  • Prepare, post, and maintain journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Maintain and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepaid expenses
  • Prepare and analyze monthly prepaid amortization schedules
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including depreciation and disposals
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Analyze income statement and balance sheet variances and provide explanations
  • Assist with internal controls, including risk identification and process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and submit sales tax filings for assigned entities
  • Provide support during year‑end audits, including preparation of schedules and audit requests
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong general accounting and reconciliation skills
  • Hands‑on experience with month‑end close in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Net Suite experience preferred
    ;
    Microsoft Dynamics experience strongly valued
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations)
  • Solid understanding of fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid accounting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
Required Education & Experience
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience preferred
  • Public accounting experience and/or CPA preferred
  • Prior experience with ERP systems and system conversions is a plus

Salary Range: $75K-$85K

Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan. 2 weeks PTO.

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
