YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting general supervisor of sanitation services opportunity in our Guymon, Oklahoma processing facility. In this role, you will supervise the sanitation services department, responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing activities on the harvest or fabrication production floors. You will provide daily oversight and direction to a team of fifty (50) sanitation technicians who implement and execute all cleaning and sanitation activities to ensure the plant is cleaned, sanitized, and maintains a high standard of cleanliness according to the Company's and USDA's standards.

- Ensures an adequate inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals are available to clean and sanitize the facility to the required level.
- Provide direction and management to the sanitation team, including training, performance evaluation, and coaching, to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to sanitation protocols.
- Provides oversight and follow-up to maintain accurate documentation and records related to sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, inspection reports, training records, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Stays current and up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sanitation management.
- Ensure team members adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is not impacted by the activities of the sanitation services department.
- Informs senior management of any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.
Instills trust, communicates effectively, action-oriented, ensures accountability, and drives results.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in food science, environmental health, public health, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in industrial sanitation in a food manufacturing facility will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations, including those specific to the protein industry.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with sanitation management software and MS Office applications.
- C shift and required by the business.
- Regularly move around the facility and primarily work on the production floor.
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Position is primarily on the production floor with limited office time.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
- Noise level requires hearing protection on the production floor.
- Hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and may include after-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested by management.
